TOMO+ - 2D Refraction Statics Solutions
Using Traveltime Tomography
TOMO+™, a 2D nonlinear
tomographic imaging and statics interpretation program from GeoTomo LLC,
brings seismic imaging capability to a new level. TOMO+™
includes a state-of-the-art wavefront tracing technique for calculating
traveltimes and raypaths simultaneously. The approach is rapid and
unconditionally stable for any velocity contrast. TOMO+™
combines conventional and recent inversion theories to solve an inverse
problem valid for a continuum in both model and data space, and obtain a
stable and high-resolution solution. TOMO+™ also provides
capabilities for geometry, traveltime, and refractor analysis. More
importantly, TOMO+™ allows users to perform iterative
traveltime picking and tomographic inversion or refractor analysis to
improve picked times and velocity solution alternatively. TOMO+™
is designed using a Java architecture that runs on both Windows and
